Laminated Glass
Laminated glass is a type of safety glass. It is obtained when two or more layers of glass, between which there is a special PVB - foil with high UV protection which holds the glass in one piece during breaking, are joined in one compact unit under high pressure and temperature in the laminating oven.
Laminated glass with PVB foil has the same use as that made with EVA foil, but a better safety performance. The PVB is characterized by a high coefficient of elasticity and sound insulation, and a much higher optical purity than the EVA foil.
The exception is the use of such glass in the exterior. If laminated glass with PVB foil used for the exterior it is necessary to protect the edges of the glass from weather conditions, otherwise there is the possibility of subsequent delamination of the glass.
Laminated glass is highly adhesive and elastic. Reduces UV rays and reflects heat, absorbs sound, resistant to corrosion and weathering. There are multiple use - as a floor, partition or protective surfaces. Suitable for glass apartment buildings, office buildings (post office, exchange offices, banks), basements, roofs, fences, windows, aquariums, fish farms, as well as for decorative glazing because PVB-foils can be transparent or colored. The structure of laminated glass ensures a high level of protection for your property, protection from injury and complete safety in overhead glazing (canopies, glass roofs, floors).
Juginus produces high quality laminated glass that meets the required safety standards.
