The most notable development in the refinement of insulating glass production is the ability of the glass surface whose selective layer deposited oxide molecules, which reflect only the thermal radiation of glass so that such low emissions of the heat come back to the source from which they came.

At the same time these layers have a minimal effect on solar radiation and in addition to the fact that it significantly reduce heat loss, they allow solar energy gains. Because of these characteristics of low-emission glass, they are considered ecologic, because by reducing the environmental heat losses, the overall need to produce the required energies for heating and therefore greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere is reduced.
